I saw this over on The Sassy Book Geek. I though it would be a fun festive post to do. I am not a huge spooky person but still thought it would be interesting. This tag was originally created by The Book Pusher.
1.) Thrillers or Supernatural(s)?
I enjoy both. I think it depends on the mood I am. Though if I had to choose one I would say Supernatural (s).
2.) Ghost or Zombies?
This one is interesting because they are so different. I would have to say ghosts though. I like zombies but I feel like they are all very similar. I think ghosts have so many different ways of interpreting them. I like the different ways of telling ghosts stories.
3.) Vampires or Werewolves?
Both of these have been used so many different ways throughout the years. To be honest I think they have been over done but if I had to choose one I would say Vampires. I like the dark mysterious element of them. Plus I adored Vampire Diaries and Damon is one of my fiction boyfriends.
4.)Witches or Demons?
Again two very different ideas. I think I would say witches. Demons scare the crap out of me. They are the characters that make me squirm. Witches have so many interpretations. I find them more interesting to read about.
5.) Would you rather read a book with 13 chapters or a black cat on the cover?
I am not a superstitious person so neither of these both me in anyway. I would say I would prefer black cat just because I adore cats.
6.) Would you rather read a spooky book in the dark with only a candle for light or by yourself in a locked brightly lit room?
While I don’t like the idea of being locked in a room I HATE the dark. I can’t read a scary book in the dark. Those shadows play way too many tricks on my mind. I would definitely say in the brightly lit room.
7.) Would you rather face your worst fears or be trapped in the mind of a killer?
This is tough. How long am I stuck in this person’s mind? How many worst fears do I have to face? I think being inside a killer’s mind was be interesting but I am terrified that it would alter my own way of thinking. My worst fears are pretty dark but I think I
would chance them and try to fight them first.
8.)Would you rather watch a scary movie or read a scary book?
I honestly hate anything scary, I am such a baby when it comes to horror. I would say a book because I can alter how I think of a scene. I can make the image easier to deal with and walk away easier. The suspense in the movies always make me want to cry. I just cannot do horror movies.
9.) Would you rather read spooky books during the fall time or all year?
I don’t read many spooky books but I think during the fall would help me feel more wrapped up in the atmosphere.
10.)Would you rather read 10 spooky books in October or 10 spooky books in a year?
I would need to spread those out, so over a year. I also don’t see myself being able to read 10 books in a month unless for some reason I got the month off from work.
I am not going to tag any specific. If you want a fun festive tag to do try this one out!
